Help us pray for…

Prayer Request - February 2, 2026

Thank you, Lord, for the blessing of Salvation that You gave us as a gift from Your love and mercy.  Help us remember it is by grace we are saved, not by anything we can do.  Help us to remember that Your gifts to us are available each day, all we need to do is rely on You and ask for Your help.  Lord, help us to listen to Your guidance and be willing to follow Your will for us as individuals and as a church family.  Most of all, help us to have the faith and TRUST of children in You, our Heavenly Father.

Thank you, Lord, for the wonderful gifts You give to us throughout each day of our lives; things seen, like trees, sky, flowers and family and things unseen, like love, assurance, confidence, and Your Spirit.  Thank you for the unconditional, eternal, constant and consistent love You have for us.  Help us to receive that love and TRUST that You ALWAYS have our best interests in mind.  Help us to understand that we must receive this love from You, its source, before we can give it away to those around us.  Let us work together to show the world around us Your image and may they see Your love through us.  Help us to take the time to listen and extend grace where needed, encouragement where needed, and most of all, love where needed.  Help us to reach out to those who need to You.  Let us be Your loving arms and show Your love to those around us.

Help us be willing to leave our comfort zone and step out in faith where You call us to go.  Thank you that You provide for our every need as we do that, so there is no reason to worry!

Give us wisdom and discernment to hear Your voice when we need to hear it; especially during the "noisy", hectic days of our lives.  Let us remember that no one, ABSOLUTELY no one, is "to far gone" that You cannot reach them and heal them.  Give us the courage and, even a gentle push, to be Your servants with loving hands and hearts in our broken and hurting world.

Help us remember that although our worldly relationships are important and need our care and attention; it is our relationship with You that is most important, and it too needs our care and attention.  Help us remember to spend time with You each day and to build each other up through prayer, patience, and encouragement.

Please also pray for our country and its leaders during this new year.  Pray the leaders will heed God's guidance and return to be servants of God and the people.  Pray the rhetoric will start focusing on people and reality and not just words and ideas.
