Help us pray for…

Prayer Request - October 26, 2025

Thank you, Lord, that you are ALWAYS near and ready to help.  Let us remember to ask for YOUR help FIRST, before going to others for help.  Give us wisdom and discernment to hear Your "still, small voice" when we need to.  Help us take Your message to the world around us.

Help us to be transformed by keeping our minds and hearts set on You.  Help us be images of Jesus to those around us, no matter where we are.  Help us remember that we are set apart, as Your followers and that we must emulate You and not conform to the world's thinking.

Thank you, Lord, for the wonderful gifts You have given us.  Thank you for the wonderful, unconditional love we find with You.  Let us remember that no one is "to far gone" that You cannot reach them and heal them.  Let us remember that we are called to be Your feet and loving hands in our broken and hurting world.

Help us adults to have the faith and trust in You that small children have in adults.  As we get older, that becomes harder, and harder, to do.  Grant that we may find the courage to let go of all our "adult wisdom" (from the world) and logic and just be YOUR trusting child.  Let us trust, as a child does their earthly parent, that You will always "catch" us, protect us, and provide for us.

Lord, we pray for those around the world, especially our brothers and sisters, who are experiencing political unrest, war, and other "unpeaceful" situations.  We pray You will infuse the leaders involved with Your wisdom, discernment, and a heart for peace.  We pray for the safety of our brothers and sisters spreading Your message who are enduring persecution, war, family rejection and fear.  We pray their message will be heard by their listeners and that You will bless them in all the special ways You know they need.

 PRAISE AND PRAYERS:

== Samm A. was accepted into the U of A Physical Therapy program!  PRAISE GOD!!!  Please pray she will do well in her chosen field of study.  She and her family thank everyone for their prayers on Samm's behalf.

These have been on our website for a long time.  However, we believe they are still important and still very, very much needed.  Thank you for your continuing prayers in these areas.

== Please say special prayers for our military men and women past and present.  Pray for comfort, peace, discernment, and courage for each of them and their families.  We know it takes as much, or more, courage to face the future for those who have returned home; pray God will provide for each of them.  Pray God will be with each one who returned from battle; that each may have His peace amidst their struggles and His strength and courage in the face of difficult circumstances.  Pray He will be with those who still serve in dangerous areas; giving them His peace, wisdom and discernment for each of the situations they face and keeping them safe.

-- Please continue to pray for the first responders, especially our law enforcement officers, around the country as they try to help those in need.  Many do their jobs consistently and constantly, despite the very real threats to their safety and the "defunding" battles that affect everything they do.  They carry a tremendous burden, both physically and emotionally, and provide a very necessary service.  Pray for God to be with their families also, as these things make a difficult  environment even worse and so very much more difficult for them too.

-- Please continue to pray for our country.  Pray for the safety and well-being of our leaders, their staff and their families.  Pray that all our leaders, elected and appointed, will turn to God for guidance, wisdom and discernment.  Pray also that the democratic process will be protected for the future and that violence will not become the only answer people have when they don't like some-thing or someone.  Pray the media will begin to give unbiased reports as they should and that the leaders and media will not abuse their power and position for their personal gain and agendas.  Pray God will help them understand the responsibility they have to the people they serve.
