Help us pray for…

Prayer Request - May 17, 2026

Lord, help us remember that You are the source of all unconditional love, lovingkindness, and compassion.  Let us honor You, the source of everything good!  Let us give share the many blessings You have given us with those around us.

Lord, help us the best way to honor someone is to imitate them.  Help us to imitate You better.  Help us to be Your loving servants to those around us.  Help us to demonstrate our complete trust in You so that no matter what we face, we can do it knowing that You have us in the palm of Your hand.  Help us to know that no matter what we face, You are clinging to us, even if we don’t have the strength to cling to You or to continue on.  Let us remember when we trust You completely, things may be bitter for a while, but they will get better because You will provide for us, and we will once again experience joy, the best, because You will work all things for our good!

Lord, help us put the big rocks of prayer, Bible Study (personal), time with You, worship, and Your ministries into our lives first.  Everything else is less important and can fit around that time.  Help us to guard those times and ensure that we take the time no matter what else is going on.  Help us get our priorities right, You and Your kingdom first, the duties of this life last.

Help us to make disciples and to be servants whenever and wherever we go.  It doesn't need to be a distant place; it can be the neighborhood market or the neighbors next door.  Help us show that we are your disciples by our lifestyle, our words, and our actions, so those around us will want to know You.  Help us to have a servant's heart and serve those around us in need.

Let us remember that changes for us, and for others, take time, lots of grace, and lots of love.  Help us not to become discouraged, or impatient, with the process as we progress through our journeys.  We know intellectually these things don't happen overnight, but that doesn't stop us from wanting the process to move faster.  Please help us be patient with the process for ourselves and others around us as You shape us and mold us into everything You designed us to be.

Lord, let us remember to look to You for the provision of EVERYTHING we need!  (It may not be what we want, but it is always everything we need!)  Help us to say, "Not my will, but Yours be done."  And let us remember this means we must accept Your plan (what), Your timing (when), and Your way (how)!  Let us not be distracted by the things of the world or put more time and/or energy into them than they should have.

Let us jealously guard our time with You each day and to never neglect our relationship with You.  Let us remember that You are not only our King, but our best friend, and we can talk with You and spend time with You, as we would with our earthly best friend.
